Hi, I’m Alex Quiroga, a 3D artist based in the Chicago area. I graduated from Bradley University in 2022 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Animation, and since then, I’ve been diving into the world of 3D art with a focus on hard-surface, non-organic models.
I’m skilled in a range of 3D programs, including Autodesk Maya, Blender, 3Ds Max, Cinema 4D, and SolidWorks. I also work proficiently with art software like Adobe Photoshop, Substance Painter, Adobe After Effects, and ZBrush. I’m passionate about creating realistic, detailed models and bringing them to life in both static and animated forms.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to contribute to various exciting projects. These include working on two game development teams, collaborating in two 24-hour animation challenges, contributing to a 3D animated short film, and completing a 5-month 3D art internship. I’ve also gained experience in a drafting internship and participated in a 48-hour game development sprint. These experiences have helped me refine my skills and develop a strong understanding of the 3D pipeline, from concept to final render.
When I’m not immersed in 3D art, you can find me reading, writing, drawing, playing video games, or spending quality time with friends.
